Football Recap: Poway Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Poway had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the Mt. Carmel Sundevils a 19-0 shutout. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Sundevils, too.

Coming up, Poway will head out on the road to face off against Rancho Bernardo at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mt. Carmel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rancho Buena Vista at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
