 Archbishop Mitty is 9-1 against Valley Christian since April of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Wednesday. The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs will head out on the road to  square off against  the Valley Christian Warriors at 4:00  p.m. Both teams come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Archbishop Mitty can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Friday. They blew past St. Ignatius College Preparatory 12-1. While fans of Archbishop Mitty might be used to big wins, the 11-run margin marked the team's biggest one yet.
 Archbishop Mitty let  Corri Hicks and  Keira Brady loose on the outfield. Hicks  fired off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and three  runs while going 2-for-3, while  Brady  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Olivia Anderson, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Valley Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of  7-2.
  Talia Haskins and  Soledad Healy did most of the damage at the plate:  Haskins  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3, while  Healy  scored three  runs while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mackenzie Daley, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 The  win  made it two in a row for Archbishop Mitty and  bumps their season record up to 13-3. As for Valley Christian, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with that  victory, which was their third straight  at home.
 Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging  on Wednesday. Archbishop Mitty hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season,  having  averaged 0.8  home runs per game. However, it's not like Valley Christian struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 0.4. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
 Archbishop Mitty beat Valley Christian 6-3  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Archbishop Mitty since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
