Baseball Recap: Etna Takes a Loss

Etna was the 11-1 winner over Lost River when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 7-6 on Thursday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clayton Harris and Peter Harris did some serious damage despite the final result: Clayton went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run, while Peter went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Clint Jenner was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Etna suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 5-5. As for Lost River, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Etna will square off against Central Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lost River, they will host Loyalton at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Grizzlies have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
