University Prep Academy barely beat Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Golden Eagles blew past the Lions 3-0 on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Golden Eagles, who have now won 11 matchups in a row.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-18.

University Prep Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brandon Nguyen, who had 20 digs and two assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Pranith Raman, who had 19 digs.

University Prep Academy pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.
