Basketball Recap: Dietrich Piles Up the Points Against Hansen

Dietrich waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They breezed by the Hansen Huskies to the tune of 63-29. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Aleigha Robertson, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave her a new career-high. Paje Van Tassell was another key player, putting up ten points along with six rebounds and six steals.

Dietrich smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 17 consecutive contests.

Dietrich is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.1 points per game. As for Hansen, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

As of now, neither Dietrich nor Hansen have any future games scheduled.
