After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Lake Charles College Prep finally came back down to earth on Monday. They came up short against the Oakdale Warriors, falling 11-1. The Trailblazers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lake Charles College Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Bernard, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Lake Charles College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Oakdale, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-12.

Looking ahead, Lake Charles College Prep is taking a road trip to square off against Jennings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Jennings has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Oakdale, they will square off against Rapides at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
