Soccer Recap: Jesuit Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Ashland

Jesuit faced Ashland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Crusaders fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 2-1.

Jesuit's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-3. As for Ashland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-1-1 record this season.

Jesuit and Ashland will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Crusaders are set to challenge their familiar foe Mountainside at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ashland will square off against rival Thurston at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
