Volleyball Recap: Brookings' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Brookings came into Tuesday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Tea Titans with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Bobcats not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 5, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Brookings was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-23.

Brookings' win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Tea, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Brookings will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Thomas More at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Tea, they will head out to challenge O'Gorman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
