Baseball Recap: Oldenburg Academy Comes Up Short

Oldenburg Academy fell victim to Lawrenceburg and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Twisters haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Oldenburg Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adam Weber, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Weber has hit this season.

Oldenburg Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Lawrenceburg, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Oldenburg Academy will take on North Decatur at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lawrenceburg, they will head out to take on Rushville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
