Volleyball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside lost against Sandalwood back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Generals came up short against the Saints, falling 3-0.

While Riverside was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Sandalwood's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12, 25-14.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sandalwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside will face off against Global Outreach Charter Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sandalwood, they will challenge Fletcher at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
