Softball Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short

Carlisle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monroe Hornets. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Monroe, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carlisle will head out to challenge Valley View at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Monroe, they will venture away from home to take on Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
