Southwest DeKalb strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the North Springs Spartans 61-27. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Panthers just coasted through the last quarter.

Thomas Glanton, III was nothing short of spectacular: he shot 63% from the field to rack up 24 points and three steals. Those 24 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jackson Ushery, who posted 12 points.

Southwest DeKalb's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Springs, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Southwest DeKalb wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 78-19 victory against Northview on the 20th. As for North Springs, they have also already played their next game, a 74-37 loss against St. Pius X Catholic on the 21st.
