Volleyball Recap: Elk Grove Beats Wheeling for Their Third Straight Win

Elk Grove entered their tilt with Wheeling on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Wildcats. This was a revenge game for the Grenadiers: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in September, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Elk Grove got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 22-25, 25-18.

Elk Grove now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Wheeling, with the loss, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 16-9.
