Basketball Recap: Ravenswood Beats Buffalo for Their Third Straight Win

Ravenswood had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Buffalo Bison, sneaking past 60-57. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-41 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Buffalo saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Asher Flanery went 10 for 19 en route to 21 points and seven assists. The match was Flanery's fourth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Wesley Mallett, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 15 points.

Ravenswood's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Buffalo, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
