Volleyball Recap: Corinth Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Corinth Christian Academy was the 3-0 winner over Hope Christian Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Corinth Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-17, 15-13.

Addyson Wilson was the offensive standout of the game as she had six aces and five kills. What's more, she posted four assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Corinth Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hope Christian Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corinth Christian Academy will head out to square off against Madison County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hope Christian Academy, they will square off against First Assembly Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
