Lecanto has gone 10-0 against Citrus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lecanto Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Citrus Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m.

Lecanto is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Weeki Wachee just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They received a blow as they fell 56-39 to the Hornets.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Citrus). They blew past Central 59-25 on Tuesday. The Hurricanes pushed the score to 51-24 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bears had little chance of recovering from.

Citrus is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.3 points. As for Lecanto, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-10.

Everything came up roses for Lecanto against Citrus in their previous meeting on January 10th, as the squad secured a 62-21 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lecanto since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
