Football Preview: Girard Indians vs. South Range Raiders        
        
		
             Girard has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the South Range Raiders at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Girard is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Friday. They blew past Edison 44-7. Given the Indians' advantage  in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings  (they are ranked 175th, while the Wildcats are ranked 414th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Dominick Tolone looked great while leading his team to the win,  rushing for 64 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 207 yards  on only 14 passes. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards. 135 of  Tolone's passing yards were hauled in by Tyler Wilson.
 Girard was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 273  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 220  rushing yards in three consecutive  games.
 Girard's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB  three times.  Allen Hess-Cardona was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself. He is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made six or more in the last four games he's  played.
 Meanwhile, South Range put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Fairless, posting  a  56-13 win. That looming  56-13 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Raiders yet this  season.
 South Range pushed their record up to 11-0 with the  victory, which was their 14th straight  at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.7 points per game. As for Girard, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
