Softball Recap: Havelock Takes a Loss

Havelock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to the D.H. Conley Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 6-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Havelock saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Salease George, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Havelock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for D.H. Conley, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

When Havelock and D.H. Conley next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Havelock will try to stop West Carteret's five-game winning streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, D.H. Conley will square off against Washington and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
