Baseball Recap: Westville Takes a Loss

Westville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Stilwell Indians, falling 16-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 two weeks ago.

Westville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Stilwell, they pushed their record up to 5-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Westville will face off against Kansas at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Kansas' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Westville's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Stilwell, they will challenge Berryhill at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Stilwell will need to watch out since Berryhill has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
