Evanston not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 30th (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Natrona County Mustangs 3-0. This was payback for the Devils, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Evanston got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 31-29.

Kyan Lawlar paced Evanston's offense, picking up 21 kills. Lawlar got some help from Afton Brown and her 23 assists. Lawlar was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Evanston's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Natrona County, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Evanston has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against East on the 26th. As for Natrona County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Star Valley on the 27th.
