While Davenport's win against East Ridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Broncos narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Knights 9-7. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Jhonny Vasquez, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Yomar Feliciano was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Davenport's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for East Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.

Davenport will square off against Lake Region at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Thunder have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.87 runs per game on average), something the Broncos will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for East Ridge, they will face off against Lake Minneola at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
