Basketball Recap: Grosse Ile Comes Up Short

Grosse Ile was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Romulus Eagles.

Grosse Ile's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Romulus, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Grosse Ile does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Romulus, they will take on Summit Academy North in a tournament on Friday.
