Football Game Preview: Annapolis Christian Academy Warriors vs. Lutheran Mustangs

The Annapolis Christian Academy Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Lutheran Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Annapolis Christian Academy comes in on three and Lutheran on five.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Annapolis Christian Academy against Victoria Cobra HomeSchool as the team secured a 54-6 victory. The game marked the Warriors' most dominant win of the season so far.

Xavier Lockyer went supernova, rushing for 15 yards and a pair of TDs, while also picking up 43 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, while Lutheran put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Compass Rose Legacy. The Mustangs blew past the Polar Bears, posting a 48-0 victory. Give the Mustangs' offense some serious credit: that high-scoring performance was actually the fewest points they've scored all season.

Annapolis Christian Academy's record now sits at 3-1. As for Lutheran, their record is now 5-0.

Annapolis Christian Academy lost to Lutheran on the road by a decisive 42-28 margin when the teams last played back in September of 2017. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
