Willapa Valley waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They blew past the Pe Ell Trojans 66-40. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Willapa Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lucas Lusk, who went 6 for 12 en route to 16 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Nathan Fluke, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points and three steals.

Willapa Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pe Ell only racked up 12 assists.

When it comes to explaining why Pe Ell lost, don't look at Calan McCarty. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave McCarty a new career-high. Liam McGrath also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Willapa Valley pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Pe Ell, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Willapa Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-51 win against Naselle on the 28th. As for Pe Ell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 44-32 victory against Oakville on the 30th.
