Soccer Recap: Des Moines East Takes a Loss

Des Moines East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Roosevelt Roughriders, falling 5-2. Des Moines East were not able to make up for their loss to Roosevelt from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Des Moines East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Roosevelt, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Des Moines East will square off against Indianola at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Roosevelt, they will head out on the road to square off against Pleasantville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
