Basketball Recap: Limestone Takes a Loss

Limestone was the 57-47 winner over Metamora when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Limestone Rockets took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Metamora Redbirds on Tuesday.

Limestone's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Metamora, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.

Limestone wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 45-0 loss against Pekin on the 10th. As for Metamora, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-48 victory against East Peoria on the 10th.
