Scott is 9-1 against Hugoton since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Beavers will host the Eagles. Scott will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Scott made easy work of Southwestern Heights and carried off a 13-1 victory.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Hugoton duked it out with Cimarron on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bluejays: they've now lost six in a row.

Scott's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Hugoton, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.

Everything went Scott's way against Hugoton in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, as Scott made off with a 17-1 victory. Will the Beavers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
