Basketball Game Preview: Carter Green Hornets vs. Cherokee Chiefs

The Carter Green Hornets will face off against the Cherokee Chiefs at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Carter is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight games dating back to last season on Saturday. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 68-63 heartbreaker at the hands of Knoxville Central.

Meanwhile, Cherokee came up short against Fulton on Saturday and fell 78-67. The loss put an end to the Chiefs' undefeated start to the season.

Carter's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cherokee, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
