Basketball Game Preview: Northview Chiefs vs. W.S. Neal Eagles

Northview is 0-3 against W.S. Neal since January of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Northview Chiefs will welcome the W.S. Neal Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Northview is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They were dealt a 69-20 defeat at the hands of Jay. That's two games in a row now that the Chiefs have lost by exactly 49 points.

Despite the loss, Northview saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Avery Stuckey posted nine points.

Meanwhile, W.S. Neal came up short against Monroe County on Tuesday, falling 46-20. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

W.S. Neal has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Northview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Northview came up short against W.S. Neal in their previous matchup back in January, falling 33-22. Can Northview avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
