Baseball Recap: Pacheco Takes a Loss

Pacheco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beyer Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-6 on Thursday.

Pacheco saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Pikas, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.

Pacheco's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Beyer, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

Coming up, Pacheco will be playing at home against Grace Davis at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beyer, they will welcome Ceres at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
