Basketball Recap: Baldwin Makes It Ten in a Row at Home

Baldwin had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They managed a 61-57 win over the Peters Township Indians. Given the Highlanders' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Indians are ranked 63rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Baldwin pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points per game. As for Peters Township, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-4 record.

Coincidentally, Baldwin and Peters Township will both be playing Trinity the next time they take the court. Baldwin will head out to face Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Peters Township will host them at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th.
