Baseball Game Preview: Eastern Quakers vs. Haslett Vikings

Eastern hasn't had much luck against Haslett recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Quakers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. Eastern will be strutting in after a win while Haslett will be coming in after a defeat.

Eastern came out on top against Bendle on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fourth inning. The Quakers took their match against the Tigers 9-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Quakers.

Alejandro Eno made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Eno was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Haslett's offense. They fell 3-0 to Grand Ledge on Thursday. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Andrew Bewersdorff was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits.

Haslett now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Eastern, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.
