Volleyball Recap: Pinelands Regional Finds Playoff Glory Versus Lindenwold

With a playoff win on the line, Pinelands Regional rose to the challenge on Monday. They blew past the Lindenwold Lions 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Pinelands Regional was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-9, 25-7.

Pinelands Regional's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayda Quigley, who had nine aces and seven digs. Those nine aces gave Quigley a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Tucker, who had 25 assists and four aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Pinelands Regional was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 28 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive contests.

Pinelands Regional is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 22-4 record this season. As for Lindenwold, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Pinelands Regional has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Absegami on the 5th. Lindenwold does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
