Basketball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 79-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sandy Pioneers. The Quakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pioneers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Sandy, they moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Franklin and Sandy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Quakers see the court they'll take on Tigard at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2026. As for Sandy, their break will end when they face Sprague at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
