Basketball Game Preview: Percy Julian Phoenix vs. Enterprise Wildcats

The Percy Julian Phoenix will square off against the Enterprise Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Percy Julian has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 6.

Last Tuesday, Percy Julian came up short against Stanhope Elmore and fell 45-34.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Enterprise faced off against JAG on Tuesday. Enterprise blew past JAG, posting a 54-6 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Enterprise is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.1 points per game. As for Percy Julian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Percy Julian was dealt a bruising 60-29 loss at the hands of Enterprise in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Percy Julian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
