Palmer won the last time they faced Kodiak and things went their way on Saturday too. The Palmer Moose strolled past the Kodiak Bears with points to spare, taking the game 67-51. Given the Moose's advantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Bears are ranked 80th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kodiak's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Liam Danelski, who posted 14 points. Kelly Ticman was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Palmer is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That lines up perfectly with their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points over those games. Kodiak is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Palmer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-38 defeat against Grace Christian on the 25th. As for Kodiak, they will challenge Colony at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
