Basketball Recap: Monument Valley Comes Up Short

Monument Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Window Rock Fighting Scouts. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by just one point.

Monument Valley's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Window Rock, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-16 record this season.

Monument Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Window Rock, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-33 defeat against Page on the 7th.
