Soccer Recap: St. Petersburg Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, St. Petersburg couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Palm Harbor University Hurricanes on Thursday, falling 7-1. The loss continues a trend for the Green Devils in their matchups with the Hurricanes: they've now lost nine in a row.

St. Petersburg's goal came courtesy of Kaia Berling, who's now up to three this season.

St. Petersburg's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4. As for Palm Harbor University, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1-1.

As of now, neither St. Petersburg nor Palm Harbor University have any future games scheduled.
