Floyd Central waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Heritage Hills Patriots. That's more bragging rights for the Highlanders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory got Floyd Central back to even at 11-11. As for Heritage Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-7.

Looking ahead, Floyd Central will welcome Lanesville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heritage Hills, they are taking a road trip to face off against South Spencer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
