North Babylon posted their closest victory since May 7, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Deer Park Falcons 3-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 10, 2022, but that streak is no more.

North Babylon got a great performance from Joshua Arteaga as he pitched 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ryan Camier, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Konig, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

North Babylon's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Deer Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
