Softball Recap: Crab Orchard Beats Wayne City for Their Eighth Straight Win

Crab Orchard never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Wayne City Indians with a sharp 6-0 win. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six runs or more this season.

Wayne City's batters probably weren't too happy with Adri Ortega, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 15 Ks (she gave up a single walk). Ortega has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kayden Glover, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Jada Burnett-Hatton, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
