Softball Recap: Walton Comes Up Short

Walton extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 19 on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 0-7 in the process. They lost 15-0 to the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

As for Bainbridge-Guilford, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

For Bainbridge-Guilford's part, Breanna Casey was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three doubles, and one RBI. Danica Park was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

As of now, neither Walton nor Bainbridge-Guilford have any future games scheduled.
