Upland had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Claremont Wolfpack. The Highlanders/Scots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolfpack, too.

Upland's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Claremont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upland will take on Beaumont at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Highlanders/Scots' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Claremont, they will square off against Bishop Amat at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
