Volleyball Recap: Davidson Fine Arts Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Davidson Fine Arts had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenbrier Wolfpack. The Titans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolfpack from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-14.

Brooklyn Moss paced Davidson Fine Arts' offense, picking up two kills. Moss got some help from Margot Rychly and her two assists. Evelyn Shaw controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Greenbrier's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Davidson Fine Arts wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Harlem on the 7th. As for Greenbrier, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Statesboro at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
