Basketball Recap: Newmarket Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Newmarket couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 37-31 to the Littleton Crusaders, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Mules have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Newmarket's loss dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Littleton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 22-0.

Newmarket does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Littleton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 36-33 defeat against Groveton on the 8th.
