Del Valle was handed a four-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Dripping Springs Tigers. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Del Valle considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Del Valle's victory bumped their record up to 11-8-2. As for Dripping Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-12-3.

Coincidentally, Del Valle and Dripping Springs will both be playing Westlake the next time they take the pitch. The Cardinals will host the Chaparrals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
