Federal Way is 6-0 against Kent-Meridian since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Federal Way Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Kent-Meridian Royals at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Federal Way has seven straight victories, Kent-Meridian has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Federal Way didn't have too much trouble with Enumclaw as they won 71-56.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 22-22 at halftime, Kent-Meridian was not quite Highline's equal in the second half on Monday. They took a 52-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates.

Federal Way has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Kent-Meridian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-8.

Everything came up roses for Federal Way against Kent-Meridian in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured an 80-30 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Federal Way since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
