Seguin beats Ennis for their second straight win

Recap: Seguin Cougars vs. Ennis Lions
Even though The Ennis Lions scored an imposing 34 points on Thursday, the Seguin Cougars still came out on top. Seguin sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 37-34 win over Ennis. The win made it back-to-back wins for Seguin.
Ennis' loss came despite strong showings from Gracen Harris and Jeremy Brown . Harris rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, while Brown rushed for 189 yards and two touchdowns.
Seguin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Ennis, they have fallen quite a ways from their 8-4 record last season and are now at 3-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seguin will take on Midlothian Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Midlothian Heritage is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Ennis, they will look to defend their home field on October 27th against Burleson at 7:00 p.m. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given how much these teams ran in their prior games.
