Gilroy entered their tilt with San Jose on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

Gilroy didn't let San Jose take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 25-23.

Gilroy's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for San Jose, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
