Baseball Recap: Owosso Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Owosso came out on top against Corunna on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Trojans narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Cavaliers 5-3. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 1-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Eden Ackley, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last 11 contests.

Owosso hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive matches.
